suspension insulators have below advanced charactors :
1 the insulation part use high aluminum porcelain C120 , glaze color
grey .
2 metal cap are made of ductile iron ,metal pins are made of forged steel .
all the metal fittngs are hot-galvanized .
3 each piece of insulators are routine tested , test items including:
routine tension load strength test , which will apply 50% of rate
mechanical strength withstand 1 minutes . after this test , we
conduct routine flashover test , will check each piece of insulators one by
one , to sort defect unit out.
4 we will test each batch of insulators with sample test ,
including below items:
dimensional check , temperature cycle test , M&E failing load
test , puncture test , galvanization thickness test , porosity test
etc.
